Ryan Lett has served as a volunteer with the Canadian Network for International Surgery (CNIS) for 27 years, providing longstanding technical expertise and support to the organization. His involvement began in 1999, when he developed CNIS’s first website, and has continued through his contributions to software development, digital systems, and technology initiatives.
His work with CNIS includes digitizing three World Health Organization (WHO) injury surveillance guidelines using the WHO SMART approach, helping to advance digital tools for injury surveillance, data collection, and implementation in low-resource settings.
Ryan also brings experience in organizational leadership and governance, serving on the management committee of a social enterprise where he provides strategic advice, operational oversight, and accountability support. He is a graduate of the University of British Columbia and a Certified Scrum Product Owner.
