Dr. Respicious Boniface

Dr. Respicious Boniface is a senior consultant anesthesiologist and epidemiologist based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, with extensive experience in clinical care, medical education, research, and injury prevention. He is affiliated with the Muhimbili Orthopaedic Institute and Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences.Dr. Boniface has worked extensively in trauma care, injury surveillance, and injury prevention, contributing to the development and evaluation of trauma registries and digital data systems designed to strengthen surgical and trauma care in resource-limited settings. His research has addressed road traffic injuries, traumatic brain injury, occupational injuries, and health-system barriers affecting trauma outcomes in Tanzania.
