Dr. Yvette Kisaka

Dr. Yvette Kisaka is a Kenyan medical doctor, healthcare manager, and epidemiologist with experience in public health programming and non-communicable disease prevention and management. She works with Kenya’s Ministry of Health and has contributed to national initiatives aimed at strengthening health systems and improving the prevention and management of non-communicable diseases.

In her work with the Canadian Network for International Surgery (CNIS), Dr. Kisaka has been a driving force behind the Trauma Team Training Course in Kenya, serving as the national coordinator for the Royal College-funded program across nine counties. Her leadership, enthusiasm, and teamwork have played an important role in supporting the delivery of CNIS training initiatives in Kenya. She was recognized by CNIS as an African Partner of the Year 2024.

Her work reflects a strong commitment to public health, health-system strengthening, disease prevention, and collaborative approaches to improving healthcare outcomes in Kenya.
